Event Outline:

  • 42way Record Breaking Team
  • 3 Plane Formation Loads (2 x Cessna Caravans and Beaver)
  • Larry Henderson will lead the team
  • 4 day Event – Thursday to Sunday
  • Jumps from up to 15,000 feet
  • 20 jumps
  • Assisting the team:

What are the rules?

Full Break Large Formation Sequential
In the transition from one formation to the next, all persons in the completed formation must release all of their grips. None of the depicted grips from any previous formation may be retaken in any of the subsequent formation in the sequence for up to three formations. After the team has completed three different formations, the team may elect to return to the first formation and continue the sequence (allowing the first set of grips to be retaken), or continue the sequence of formations with a new, different formation. Simultaneous separation during the transition is not required.

Note: Number of persons required for the record must not be less than 25% of our current 130way Aussie Record, rounded up.


Event Cost:

Registration Fee:  $250
Due once slot is confirmed
Jump Tickets: $45 per jump
Paid to Skydive Oz during event

  • The Aussie Bigways Record Selection Team will respond to your Expression of Interest as soon as possible;
    • with an affirmation of slot or
    • pathway / requirement of skills required to qualify for a slot
  • Stay Current!
  • Stay Relevant – currency for this event is jumping 4way, 8way, Bigways
  • Save your pennies
  • Attend the Bigway Camp for currency and familiarity with P3 methodology  (event details here)

Larry Henderson will lead the team through the record attempts. Larry was a captain and co-organiser of the World Record 400way set in Thailand 2006; along with countless World Record attempts and successes spanning many decades.
Larry brings a wealth of information that will improve our chances of record success!
