Kate Cooper-Jensen
Who is Kate Cooper-Jensen?
Well anyone who only supplies 11 lines of text in regard to their biography is certainly not beating their own drum nor looking for a book deal. But beat a drum we must for Kate Cooper – Jensen who has an incredible skydiving pedigree, that has taken her on an astonishing journey in a range of disciplines in world events across the globe.
In Kate’s own words she is “Passionate about skydiving and skydivers! I love explaining the artistry of large formation skydiving to people and seeing “the light come on”, whether they have 200 or 2000 jumps.
First jump 1978, 11,800 total jumps
*note–NEVER, and I mean NEVER admit to making your 10,000th jump while there are a bunch of Aussies around–they will celebrate it in TRUE Aussie style! 😀 (Many Aussie Bigway jumpers can testify to being on Kate’s momentous jump in 2012 including the celebratory pies in the face, ice cold water, silly string and a dunking in the Perris Pool all done with great affection and admiration of a truly momentous milestone.)
Kate notes she has 15+ World Records and multiple national records–including Aussie records and is a current 4-way competitor and founding partner of P3 skydiving.
“I can’t wait to see all of our Australian friends back at Perris again! Bring on 2019” Kate.
So having read this far there is much more to the passionate skydiver Kate and fortunately for you and me, Kate’s very good friend Lesley Gale has captured the essence and passion of this talented lady and documented it so please read on.
