Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld
So who is Dan BC you ask and what can I learn from him?
The short answer is you will learn all you wanted to know about skydiving and more.
The long answer is Dan BC (Brodsky-Chenfeld) is part of the P3 Skydiving team from Perris Valley in the United States. Dan has worked with Aussie skydivers for the past 10 years assisting them to take up the challenge of Bigway skydiving creating a platform for successful skydives such as the last 119 Aussie Bigway record in 2015.
Dan started his skydiving journey in 1980 in Ohio with his first jump from a Cessna 172; jumping a round parachute from 2800 feet…those were the days. From these early beginnings Dan has gone on to have a stellar career in the sport obtaining his Static Line, Tandem and AFF Instructor ratings.
He has owned or managed a number of Drop Zones including Perris since 2003 and has been a long standing 4 way and 8 way competitor, representing the USA at World Championships through the 1990’s in legendary teams such as ‘The Fource’, ‘Perris Airmoves’ and ‘Arizona Airspeed’
Dan’s trophy cabinet is full of US National titles as well as numerous World Championship medals in both 4 way and 8 way. Dan was the organizer for the World record 300 way in 2002 and from those early beginnings P3 was born in 2004.
To find out more about Dan and his incredible journey in the sport including surviving a tragic aircraft accident, the must read is his book ‘Above All Else.’
Regardless of your skill level now this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from one very talented skydiver so I would encourage you to register. With 26,000 jumps under his belt what do you have to lose? See you there!
In Dan’s words he ‘can kick Greg Jack’s ass with one hand tied behind my back.’ Did I also say he is a funny man?
