Captains Call May 2017

Hi everyone and welcome to May’s edition of our monthly Newsletter for 2017.

The Perris journey to the 2019 Aussie Bigway Record Event commenced the minute we left the Drop Zone in June 2015 with a 119 record in the bag.  

For the past two years we have had an awesome group of enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated coaches and mentors organising great events,coaching weekends and star crests loads around the country along with P3 Coach attendance to our major events from Dan BC last year and now Doug Forth for Moruya in November and York in December 2017.

It is now exactly half way between 2015 and 2019 we are keen to know who is coming on our journey to the 2019 Aussie Bigway Record Event. 

Can you please send an email to me at gregorykjack@gmail.com indicating your Expression of Interest in participating in Perris in 2019, this will help us better plan and co-ordinate future events and training activities.

 

Let me remind everyone of those all important dates which we have now locked in for our Aussie Record Event in 2019 -they are:

Thurs 23^rd May to Sat 25^th May 2019

First Big Way Camp

Mon 27^th May to Wed 29^th May 2019

Second Big Way Camp

Fri 31^st May to Mon 03^rd Jun 2019

Aussie Large Formation Record Event

Please lock these dates in and start making your plans – in just over 2 years it is game on.

Remember registration opens next month 9th June for the Doug Forth Big Way Events at both Moruya and York at the end of this year – which is our Premier Event for 2017.

 Our State Mentors and most of our Big Way Coaches meet monthly via video conference meetings and are continually working to improve the Big Way skill levels of Aussies skydivers.  Very recently the Aussie Big Ways Skills and Events Guide was reviewed and updated [v1.3]. 

This will be used as a guide for all future Aussie Big Ways Events and as always is available to be viewed on our Website.
