Captains Call December 2016

Captains Call December 2016

Hi everyone and welcome to December’s edition of our monthly Newsletter.

Well it is only two days until that incredibly awesome bloke – Dan BC, arrives into Sydney and I pick him up and take him out to our fantastic Wind tunnel at Penrith, meet the crew there, make some interviews and have a fly!  How lucky are we to have such a talented skydiver come to Ozz and conduct one of our Bigway Events for us.

I look forward to seeing and jumping with so many of us at Nagambie for Dan BC’s Big Way Camp and for those involved in the planning and co-ordination of the Camp, especially National Events Co-ordinator Tracey Basman, it will be the fruition of many months long hours and hard work to make this happen.

This Bigway journey takes a big step forward with the conduct of the Dan BC Bigway Camp and will give many of our “junior” – both jumps of experience wise, an insight into skills, attitude and knowledge we all require if we are to be successful in setting a new Australian Large Formation Record at Perris Valley in May 2019

Your State Mentors are continually working hard to co-ordinate and organise events in your states, also to provide support and information to get you to events elsewhere so we are successful in 2019 – please support them!

So another month closer to May 2019 and we are about to start the premier event for 2016 – Dan BC’s Big Way Camp at Nagambie, I am one very excited and happy camper right now.

Also for everyone as this is our last Newsletter till January 2017, I wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas and lots of awesome safe skydives.

Blue Ones,

Greg
