Hello Everyone and Welcome to the first in our series of monthly Newsletters.
To easily identify & contact your State Mentor and find events happening around the country, scroll to the bottom for their updates.

There are number of initiatives underway headed by our small dedicated Leadership Team and State Mentors all designed to get us upskilled and well prepared for our new assault on our Aussie National Large Formation Skydiving Record.

We have redesigned / upgraded our Aussiebigways website, the new version should be up very soon and will contain all of the current information and some !  Many thanks to Peter Franklin and Ben Eckersley for their fantastic work here on our behalf – you guys rock !

Tracey Basman as our National Event coordinator is on fire and the big big news for 2016 is Dan BC coming down to run a Big Way Event in early December for us – cool !

Melissa Harvie has put together an awesome “Skills and Event Guide” package for all levels of Big Way Skydiving and with support from LG, has developed an awesome Tunnel “Super  Charge Program” – which I am doing in July this year.

Our State Mentors are also providing local information and opportunities please read our newsletter and provide us with feedback as to how we can improve it.

Our journey is underway now – ONLY 3 years and month and a bit until we will be in Perris, come join us, get involved, get motivated and get in the air !
Blue Ones,
Greg

Top tips for Bigway Skills

Melissa Harvie

‘Be an even better big way flyer’

Let the grip be something you pick up after you have moved to your position in the formation and stopped.

Easier said than done?  Having a grip gives us such comfort.

Being able to stop in your slot and control your relativity to the formation without using the grip for support is a key skill that gets you noticed, in a really good way!
