In partnership with the APF, State Parachute Councils and Toogoolawah Skydiving Club, Aussie Bigways is proud to announce and confirm the details of our 2018 Premier Event.

P3 Coach, Larry Henderson, is returning to Skydive Ramblers to coach the P3 Methodology of jumping successful Bigways. This is an opportunity not to be missed. Larry loves jumping with Aussies, and we have adopted Larry as one of our own. Who doesn’t love jumping with Larry?!!

Event Program:
Fri 28 Sept – Welcoming Dinner & Bigway Presentation by Larry Henderson
2pm – Event Check-in
6pm – Welcoming Dinner for Participants
7pm –  Larry will open our event with an introductory talk, including key Bigway achievements. Come along with your beanbag, chair, drink of choice and listen to one of our best in Organising and Coaching Bigways around the world. Larry’s presentation is open to all skydivers!

Sat 29 Sept to Mon 1 Oct
15 to 30way Formation loads from 14,000 feet
Starting with 15way formation loads from 2 aircraft
Learn all the basics jumping various Bigway slots under the tutelage of Larry Henderson and our Aussie Bigway Coaches . Larry will be jumping with us all, rotating around the Bigway groups. This camp will include up to 14 jumps over the 3 days.
Note: It is mandatory to attend this camp to qualify for the Sequential Record Jumps following.

Tues 2 Oct – Rest Day (weather day)
This will be a rest day for everyone. The day may vary depending on the weather forecast and / or if weather precluded the group jumping during the camp days, in which case we will continue jumping.

Wed 3 Oct – Friday 5 Oct
The Bigway camp continues using Oxygen from 17500 feet. Wahoo! We are working on sourcing a third aircraft to jump 45way formations. Included over these days will be Sequential Record attempts for those who qualify.
The Aussie Sequential Record attempts will be either 4pt 32ways and / or 2pt 45ways.

Note: We have factored in two days using oxygen – 9 jumps. We will start this second half of our event with 14,000 feet jumps and / or ending with 14,000 feet jumps.

Minimum Skill Level:

• C license and above (for use of Oxygen)
• Qualified to participate in Bigway Camps as per the Aussie Bigways Skills & Event guide
• Current FS jumper
• Current in flying your FS jumpsuit with arm, outside and inside leg grips and boosters
• Audible Altimeter (for flying as a Tracking Leader)

• Consistently achieve a stable exit
• Dive in a controlled way to your slot in the formation
• Approach, stop and dock on level without momentum
• Flat track relative to others on a designated radial
• Follow a designated landing pattern safely
• As a guide, it is likely that you will have at least 150 jumps by November to tick the boxes above.

Event Registration: $250.00

Jump Costs: To Be Confirmed closer to the date – as a pricing guide:
14 jumps @ $45 from 14000 feet – initial 3 day camp
5 jumps @ $45 from 14000 feet – second camp jumps
9 jumps @ $70 from 17500 feet using Oxygen – second camp/record jumps
Guide to Total Jump Cost: $1,485.00

Display Jump Sat 6 Oct:
The Aussie Bigway Team, in conjunction with the APF, are working on a Display jump over the Gold Coast QLD, scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday 6 October. More exciting news to come about this add-on event to our Premier Event.

• General Display License
• Attended the 7 day Premier Event
• Thumbs up approval from Larry Henderson in safety and skill to join this Display Group
