VIC Mentor Update August
by admin
“The weather gods have been very much on Nagambie’s side recently, with a great run of sunny winter days. Star Crests were another successful event this month, happening over the Queen’s Birthday weekend, with a late change as Tom Fletcher stepped in for Drew Whitworth. Congratulations to Stuart, who worked hard and gained his Star Crest with a perfect approach and dock on the last load of the day.
This was followed up two weeks later with the Rotor Out camp – a chance for both 4-way teams and individuals to get top-class coaching from 4-way Open Gold medallist Craig Vaughan. With several teams taking advantage of this great opportunity, we even had small scratch team form on the day from junior jumpers who were enthused from watching all the FS happening. We are expected to see a few local teams at next year’s Nationals!”
