Sth QLD Update June 2017

On 3 and 4 June Ramblers Toogoolawah hosted another successful combined ASC and Bigways event.
Both days had excellent jumping conditions, and on the Saturday, 19 turned up to jump and to film (thanks again Dave Brown and Rangry). Congratulations to our two jumpers who completed the ASC, Troy and Aaron, and to the others who came close – keep it up people, great job. Sunday included a mystery jump (funny reactions when we called a dirt dive for that!) and a 7 way to finish the day that turned 6 points from scratch.
A great stepping stone for Bigways at Ramblers and on the path to the next Australian record event in 2019.
Thank you again to all our supporters – Ramblers Toogoolawah (thank you Macca, Darren, and especially Jenny for putting up with my manifest stuff ups), Toogoolawah Skydivers Club, South Queensland Parachute Council and Australian Parachute Federation, and not least to everyone who turned up on Saturday and Sunday and made them a great jumping event at Toogs.
Look out for the 4 way for Bigways weekend at the end of July, details to come.
