SA Mentor Update June 2017
What a month!
2 CRW camps one held at Lower Light with Dean Barrowcliff, Marty Letch and Tomasso Liccioli coaching and one at Langhorne Creek with Jules McConnel coaching as well. These were really well attended, the focus is to improve skills for bigway CRW jumpers but this has a duel benefit in that it improves skills in canopy flying that are so essential for bigway formation skydiving. I must say I have some girly arms as I could not budge those front risers on the 160 that I was given to fly, so had to find another way to make those docks. Thanks to Zack Rosser and Scott Roberts for organising.
We also had the legendary Craig Vaughan come voer to Lower Light for 4 way coaching in the lead up to our state meet. Whilst the weather was’t great we had a fantastic turn out of participants and did manage to get a few loads in on both days. In the down time Craig gave some really useful seminars, one on 4 way flying and the other on building a team, setting goals and a pathway to Nationals. Never seen everyone so focussed.
In June we have our state meet, we already have 5 x 4 way teams registered as well as CRW, Free Fly and a 2 way Noive comp.
The feature pic is Laura Watson, Tomasson Liccioli, Angelique Rootman and Julian Vale exiting an M (star) from the 206.
Happy flying!
