National Perspective May 2017
Jumping in a team, competing at a State Meet or Nationals has given me many memorable moments and lifelong friendships. Yes, I still get those first jump nerves, but you know, over time I have found that first jump to be my best!
8way was always my passion, however for some years now I have become just as enthusiastic at jumping 4way. Both provide different challenges that compliment ones overall skills in skydiving. I have found competition steels you against those belly butterflies when attempting bigway records too. I hope to encourage our skydiving community to join a team, invest in your skills, sign up for good coaching and enjoy the learning process. Such a journey translates into life skills and as the old saying goes – may you never be the same again!
