The APF Fi Funding committee have confirm support for our Aussie Bigway Premier Events to bring Doug Forth to Australia.

Thank you also to the NSWPC for funding our Aussie coaches to attend the Moruya Event, the SAPC and VTPC for assisting with the camera slot costs; and the WAPC for supporting the coaching team to attend the Event in York.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

Registration Opening Date:
9th June 2017 (Friday) at 5pm EST

Registration for both Moruya and York events will open on Friday 10th June at 5pm EST, that is Syd, Bris, Melb time. Slots will be on a ‘first in, first served’ basis. If you have the necessary skills for the event, your application will be approved. The event format, details, schedule and costs will be released over the next few months prior to registration.

Exciting times ahead – you won’t want to miss our Camp and Sequential Record attempts in Moruya NSW, or our Training event in York WA!

Bigway Tools

The Aussie Bigways website has reference material that will assist you in your Bigway training leading up to these events.

Specifically, a valuable reference is the Aussie Bigways Skill and Event Guide. This document outlines skills, knowledge and attitude you should be developing to participate in these Aussie Bigways events. Talk to your coach and mentor to plot your personal development path.

As a quick overview, you will need to meet these requirements in proven ability:

  • Consistently achieve a stable exit
  • Dive in a controlled way to your slot in the formation
  • Approach, stop and dock on level without momentum
  • Flat track relative to others on a designated radial
  • Follow a designated landing pattern safely
  • A teamwork mentality
