WA Mentor Update December 2016

WA Mentor Update December 2016

8 way is cool

The beginning of November was the State Meet.  While there were no Open teams we certainly saw the largest contingent of teams we have seen in many years for intermediate competition, which included 3 teams of 8-way.  This was a direct result of having Simone Bambach coach an introduction to 8-way weekend and then running a consolidation weekend.  The scores weren’t high and the exits left much to be desired but it was great to see so many people getting involved in competition and improving their FS skills.  A big thanks goes out to Riss Anderson who came over to WA to ground coach for the State Meet.

Congratulations to Don Woodland for making it to 10,000 jumps.  We followed his dive plan to ensure he got some great shots of him and his daughter Emily.
