QLD Mentor Update November 2016
by Ben Nordkamp
A video compilation by Steve Fitch of the Bigway jumps at Equinox:
Greg Jack spent 9 days Load Organising at Skydive Ramblers, Toogoolawah during their EQUINOX early in October. Mark “Stretch” Szulmayer assisted with coaching during the last 5 days of the event.
Over that time they jump with approx. 25 to 30 Bigway enthusiasts, making from 13 to 14 way formations loads, and attempting 27 ways from two caravans.
During the course of the event, they made approx. 42 loads of Bigway jumps, that included 6 formation loads. Both Greg Jack and Stretch encouraged best practice Bigway skills and techniques.
Old mates caught up, new friends were made; there were lots of safe, great jumps including many completions.
Greg Jack enlightened the group to the Aussie Bigways journey to a new Australian Largest Formation attempt to be held at Perris in 2019, with many signing up to the Aussie Bigways mailing list.
