VIC Mentor Update July 2016

Vic Mentor Update
Well it’s a little chilly down south but that has not stopped props turning, people falling or rigs requiring packing all be it at sub zero temperatures some of the time.
The joys of winter skydiving provide a crispness to the air that cannot be beaten, however the landings can be a little soggier than usual.
Around the DZ’s there are plenty of activities with Star Crests coming up at Nagambie with Christian Peric in July and myself in August. Kelly Brennan is commencing a Star Crest program at Barwon Heads.
Commandos are continuing with the Saturday Skills days including Star Crests, 4’s and 8’s.
There is a lot of chat about Dan BC coming in December and plenty of new jumpers who are keen to get on the Bigway band wagon.
Personally I have just completed Melissa Harvie’s Supercharge program in the tunnel with LG (Laurence Garceau)
A great skills program well worth the investment in your skydiving. Thanks Ladies.
On the weekend at Commandos I was able to share these skills when I wasn’t being a practice student for some newly fledged AFF Instructors.
Those who participated were happy to spend the time practicing on how they can be more structured and disciplined in their approach to their skydiving.
Keep your eye on the calendar for upcoming events and don’t forget to check out the Aussie big ways webpage for great information.
Cheers J9
